Pearsall's Pearl Silk size 40
 
This is best Pearl Silk I've used that's still in production. It's a smooth silk that knots well and resists catching and fraying in use. Spools are generally knot free (I've found large capacity spools usually have a few), but this isn't guaranteed. 
 
This listing is for one spool only. Label colour and batch number may vary. Other sizes available, please see last picture.
 
Size 40 is approximately 0.10 mm in diameter and is suitable for seed pearls and beads. The spool contains approximately 1146 metres of silk.
